Policies

Billing/Payment Terms

LeapFrog Computers, Inc. accepts VISA, Master Card, American Express, checks, money orders and cash.

We do not recommend sending cash through the mail; LeapFrog Computers, Inc. is not responsible for the loss of any cash payments remitted in said manner.

There will be a $35.00 charge for each returned check and / or rejected credit card.

LeapFrog Computers, Inc. will send invoices, via email, by the end or the week. Paper invoices and faxed invoices are available for a fee of $5.00/month. Payment is due 15 days of said invoice date. Payments received after the due date will be recorded and will appear as a past-due payment and subject to a late fee.

If Customers / Clients wishes to change the method of payment, he/she must notify LeapFrog Computers, Inc. at least ten (10) working days before the next payment is due.

Accounts not paid by the beginning of each accounting cycle will be considered past due. Accounts that are past-due for two (2) months are considered delinquent and will be deactivated. Reactivation of the account will occur once the account is paid in full, including late fees.



RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Policy

Our On-Site Computer service is guaranteed for 15 days. All products sold by LeapFrog Computers are guaranteed according to the manufacturers warranty policies.

Whenever you need to return product(s) to LeapFrog Computers, Inc. for any reason, you must first obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number by submitting an email to rma@leapfrogcomputers.com. The following information is required in order to complete your RMA request: your name, company name, address, phone number, LeapFrog Computers, Inc. part number and a brief description of the problem you are experiencing with the product(s) you wish to return. All requests received will be processed the following day.

In the event the product(s) you wish to return is defective and you want a replacement for that product(s), you will need to submit an email to rma@leapfrogcomputers.com. Upon LeapFrog Computers, Inc.’s acceptance and approval, you will promptly receive an E-mail notification with an RMA number and return instructions. Please return the defective product(s) to LeapFrog Computers, Inc. within 30-days from issuance of the RMA number, referencing the RMA number given to you. Upon receipt of the defective product(s), LeapFrog Computers, Inc. will, at its discretion, either repair or replace the product(s). Subject to product availability, the replacement product(s) will be shipped the business day following receipt of defective product(s).

In the event the product(s) you wish to return is defective with a status of "Discontinued" (i.e. product(s) that are no longer being manufactured but are still under warranty), you will need to submit an email to rma@leapfrogcomputers.com.

Upon LeapFrog Computers, Inc.’s acceptance and approval, you will promptly receive an E-mail notification with an RMA number and return instructions. Please return the defective product(s)to LeapFrog Computers, Inc. within 30-days from issuance of the RMA number, referencing the RMA number given to you. Subject to product availability, refurbished product will be shipped within 3-5 business days following receipt of the defective product(s). The requester will be notified if processing is expected to exceed 5 business days.

In the event that you must have the replacement product(s) immediately you will need to submit an email to rma@leapfrogcomputers.com. Upon LeapFrog Computers, Inc.’s acceptance and approval, you will promptly receive an E-mail notification with an RMA number and return instructions. By requesting this option, the customer agrees that they will ship the defective product(s) to LeapFrog Computers, Inc. within 10 calendar days of the request. For all Cross-ship transactions, a credit card number is required and will be held as collateral to insure the return of defective product(s). There will be a 10-day hold for the list price of the item being shipped. If the defective product(s) are not received within the specified 10-day period, LeapFrog Computers, Inc. will charge the credit card accordingly. Subject to product availability, LeapFrog Computers, Inc. will ship product(s) on the same day the RMA# is generated.

Please note that we will not accept any product(s) that has been damaged as a result of accident, abuse, misuse, natural or personal disaster, or any unauthorized disassemble, repair or modification.

Once you have obtained an RMA number from LeapFrog Computers, Inc., you must send the product(s) freight prepaid to LeapFrog Computers, Inc. Please use a shipping company that can demonstrate proof of delivery (such as Federal Express, UPS). LeapFrog Computers, Inc. does not accept responsibility for any lost shipments unless proof of delivery to LeapFrog Computers, Inc. is provided. Product(s) shipped to LeapFrog Computers, Inc. must be properly packaged to prevent damage in transit. The LeapFrog Computers, Inc. RMA number must be prominently displayed on the outside of your package. If you send your product(s) to LeapFrog Computers, Inc. without the RMA number prominently displayed on the outside of the package, it will be returned to you unopened.
